Dietary Supplement Overview TruNature® Lutein and Zeaxanthin Vision Complex contains Lutemax® 2020 Ultra, which comes from natural marigolds. A typical diet has a natural 5:1 ratio of lutein and zeaxanthin isomers. Our product matches that normal balance of these powerful antioxidants.† Lutein and zeaxanthin isomers:
Lutein and zeaxanthin isomers are naturally found in the macula of the eye. The macula is located in the back of the eye and is involved with sharpness of vision. Lutein & zeaxanthin accumulate there and may act as a protective shield as light hits the eye, helping to filter out harmful ultra-violet rays.† As antioxidants, they may protect cells against the damaging effects of free radicals and help to support healthy vision. Lutein & zeaxanthin isomers are carotenoids which may help maintain healthy vision.† However, since our bodies cannot produce these antioxidants, they must come from our diets or dietary supplements Taking trunature® Lutein and Zeaxanthin Vision Complex may help to replace these powerful antioxidants, which, in turn, may help to support healthy eyes and vision.† In fact, trunature® Lutein & Zeaxanthin Vision Complex not only has a high dose of lutein, it also has up to 5x more zeaxanthin isomers than some other eye care supplements. In addition, it uses a proprietary technology No Artificial Colors or Flavors Made in USA *These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
